Calm and collected,
Pondering on old memories,
Savoring all gone moments,
I Pride my Solitude…
Clouds pass by,
Reminding the roads never taken,
Making me feel empty,
I Pride my solitude…

Watching as it takes over me,
I face it with arrogance,
For, I Pride my solitude…
I give up! A taboo that society flinches to hear.
I give up! Saying it out loud could be frowned upon.
I give up! Probably, No parent should ever say
I give up! Seen as weakling phrase for a Feminist
I give up! Could be judged as an easy way out.
Sometimes, Life can get tiring
Mustering all the strength, all that could be said is “I give up”
A disappointment to one's parents
An irresponsible act towards family
A failure, lacking the fighting spirit
Blindsided with negatives...
Sometimes, It’s just too much to even stand back up
All is been done...
Everything has been tried
Yet, no way to fill the void
A disappointment....
A failure....
